The salty air in (Savannah GA. and Florida) plus sand definitely didn't help with my XJ running with heim joints in steering I went with regular tie rod ends for steering. Great flex but short lived.
My TJ will be needing a round of bushings soon due to being in FL since 2005... the body mount, control arm, and other bushings are all dry rotted...

My TJ will be needing a round of bushings soon due to being in FL since 2005... the body mount, control arm, and other bushings are all dry rotted...
Mine probably does need them to, I know that the body bushings have developed cracks the upper axle control arm bushings can/are a PTA to change from my past experience. The poly ones... Thankfully I have a 12 ton hydraulic press now. When you start don't forget to check the left side motor mount bushing too. ?
