Anyone have any thoughts on Diesel suspension on gas JT? I swear I heard it’s not a good idea somewhere.
The rear springs will be the same as gas, the front springs might be a touch stiffer then gas, but it would essentially level the truck out if they are a little stiffer. The shock valving if anything would be a little stiffer on the front to compensate for the stiffer springs.

At the same time I don't see much advantage going from non ruby oem to ruby oem, if you are going to mess with suspension then get a nice kit that improves upon the oem.

I am just throwing these oem take off out there, cause they are taking up space and I won't be going back.

I have a 21 Willys Sport. Just purchased basically the whole suspension take offs from a 23 JTR. Red bodies shocks. Really just wanted the springs to add to my Sport. I paid $150 for everything with around only 250 miles on it. Combining the Rubi suspension with a spacer lift. Not looking for a big change in shock performance, but mine has 50K on it so I might as well just put the new ones on while I have it ripped apart.

I gave away my entire stock suspension, shocks, springs, control arms, etc. The Fox shocks from 2020 were hot sewage.

If you're ever in SoCal I'd be happy to give my old set away. IMO they are under dampened, and prone to fading on longer trails.

I’m not sure what y’all are talking about, my 2020 Rubicon LE suspension tows, hauls and rides remarkably well. I literally towed 1500 lbs in the bed and 5-8k lb trailer more times than I can remember and I’m always impressed.

I haven’t been on here in a while, I used to post on here a lot. What’s this red shock thing?

I bought an overland and pretty much immediately put a take off rubicon le suspension on it.

Hey Yall!

Quick question.

I have a Sport with stock suspension, and a friend offered me brand new JTR shocks for $300, can I just bolt them on? Or will the stock springs and suspension geometry mess everything up?
I recently gave away the set of Fox off my 22 Rubi. It wouldn't surprise me if wants to give them back

In the Los Angeles, California area brand new Rubicon Springs and shocks average about 100 bucks for everything. $300 means he is not a friend!

I will give you some shocks if you pay the shipping. They literally have like 35 miles on them

Going from slandered red shocks to the Fox 2.0/jeep shocks there is a big difference in the ride
Its one of the first things I did on both my Willys and Rubicon

Are those the good ones or the bad ones? Those are what’s on my 2020. They’ve been great for 50k so far. I posted my towing and hauling above

Those are the ones many complain of being under dampened.

They work well and ride great. No worse on the ride than my overland shocks but they are a lot better dampened. Those would bounce like three times after you hit a big bump and the bed was always bobbing. I hated them. I’d still like a little more dampening with the fox shocks, but they do a great job with towing and hauling, but some of that could be the rubicon le springs. They were the stiffest available when I put them on.
