As I have said before I am new to the Jeeps. Right now my Gladiator is just how I bought it other than a bed liner and seat covers. If I go with bigger tires and a lift, will the ride be rough? The bigger the lift the rougher the ride?

May I suggest you spend a little time here in the forum and get a bit of basic knowledge on what you can do to modify your rig. There is a HUGE aftermarket for lifts, and they all have pros and cons. I was absolutely in your boat when I first got my JT and have learned a metric shit ton from reading up on stuff here in the forum. Welcome to the club!!

Start researching key words like metal cloak Clayton, tera flex ,lift ride. And read for awhile. Each lift and Control arms , springs rates all fit different applications. Basically the more your hauling the stiffer you want your springs and higher doesn't equal stuff ride . Springs come in rates and weight ratings. Single dual and triple rate springs for example. Reading on this forum is a great teacher . Guys on here have lived it tried this and that . Many are serious trail badge recipients and have serious rigs. Some have lifted for looks and some for serious off roading . Look up things like lifts for daily drivers, spacer lifts , etc.

Also depends on your use. Different lifts provide different outcomes. Overlanding, rock crawling, basic fire roads?

If you are lucky enough to have a 4 x 4 shop near you, they may be able to take you on a test ride/joyride to show you what the lift feels like before picking it….

I went with the mopar lift. Love it, was easy to install myself and rides nice. The other good lift is AEV. The mopar and AEV kits include most everything you will need at a reasonable price. The only thing I added was a steersmarts front adjustable track bar. I use my Gladiator for overlanding and mild offroading.
