Lift/Leveling Options for '21 Willys

So I've been reading plenty of threads on lift and leveling kits and I know there are plenty of opinions on kits/pricing etc. Its more than enough to make the head spin. I've done plenty of kit installs in my life but I'm looking for some advice. I just got a 2021 Willys which comes stock with the Dana M210 & M220 axels and Rubicon shocks but not the Rubicon springs.

I really don't feel the need to go larger than 35" tires and my off-road endeavors will be limited to camping and fire roads so I don't think I need a hugely aggressive kit. That being said, if I want to level the front end a bit and possibly keep a bit of rake for towing, am I better off just doing a 2" Mopar in the front and leaving the rear alone or should I consider doing a 2.5" in the front with a 3/4 - 1" in the rear?

In other words, should I look at sticking with spacer kits or get into full coil and shock kits since I have the standard springs? I know this is really a personal preference, you get what you pay for, etc., but I'm looking for some input and recommendations before I pull the trigger on gaining some slight altitude. I know the cheapest route isn't always the best but I'm not looking to break the bank either. Hit me with your knowledge.

Sorry to break it to you, but you don’t have JT Rubicon shocks, as those are Fox. You have the same (spec) shocks as a JL Rubicon. Your choice of lift/leveling kits is similar to any Sport or Overland, and only different than a Rubi because many people wish to keep the Fox Shocks. It’s a personal decision on how to build your Jeep based on preference and budget. Best wishes, and if you have a specific question about lifting, many here would be happy to offer opinions. I would not recommend purchasing a Mopar lift and only using the front half, as that would be a waste of money.

Well aware I don't have the Fox shocks. What I was getting at is whether or not it's the opinion of some to change out the stock Rubicon JL shocks or are they worth keeping? I know this is a personal decision I'm just looking for input on the successes other have had with their lift configurations so I can make an informed decision. I agree that using half of a Mopar kit would just be silly.

I’m rather curious as to the same with regards to lifting. I’ve got a Willys on the way right now and don’t plan on wheeling too much in the near future. There’s not a lot of trails near me here and I don’t have the time either. I’m planning on keeping wheels and tires stock for a while until the tires are shot.

I just picked up a set of rubicon springs and shock takeoff’s and plan on putting at least the springs on right away. From what I’ve read I’ll get 3/4” to an inch in the front and maybe a 1/2” in the rear. I’m trying to decide if I need to add a 3/4” leveling kit to get it to completely level out, or do I put the springs and an 1.5” kit. I’m not needing to go huge yet and have little ones that will be climbing in and out everyday. Any ideas?

If you're not going to regularly tow anything and don't keep a lot of weight in the bed I'd go ahead and add a spacer to the front. Maybe get the Tereflex 1.5" kit and just do the 1.0" spacer first. I hate rake in Jeeps though.....
