I have a Rubicon.

Looking at putting the Synergy +2" coil springs in the front and the Daystar 3/4" spacers in rear.

First and obvious question, is that a detrimental combination, or will it work just fine?

Second question, are the Rubi front springs already an increased height, or are all the fronts the same?

Third question, I see that many leveling kits have a shock extensions for the front, is it absolutely necessary to do that or just run the front shocks on OEM mounts?

You can run a combination of springs and spacers, but you will likely end up with differing spring rates between the front and rear. This could cause the rear end to feel softer, and the suspension a little "unbalanced", but it also might be ok. Rubicon springs are a bit taller (1/2'-1") than Sport and Overland Springs. you would not want to run 2" springs without new shocks and bump stops, or spacers and bump stops.

Okay, didn't dig far enough on their webpage. They do offer front shock relocation brackets. They also recommend a 2" bump stop minimum for a 2" lift. I like their snap-in bump stop kit. Gives you the ability to add if you decide to go higher in the future.

Think I'm going this route to make my own level kit, then when it's time for new shocks all around I can get +2" for front and stock length for rear.

Did you get any of this going yet? I'm wondering how the Synergy springs worked out. After doing some research, it seems like Synergy might be most similar in rate to a stock Rubicon spring.
Right now Synergy seems to be back ordering everything across the board, so I haven't ordered.
Am to the point now I'm going to mount 35's on the new wheels when they get here and see if any lift is even necessary.
