If you drop the camper, Valley of the Moon is a good ride.

Man, I really don’t know of much there. I think there’s a truck trial down there, but I’m not sure. We’re going to roll out there tomorrow in the 4xe JLU and try to get lost. We might end up at Corral Canyon, but I’m still gun shy from getting stranded by the JT out there when the fuel pump sh*t itself. Who knows. We’ll be in the silver 4xe Sahara with a Tepui and 10 gal road shower on top. Flag us down if we cross paths!

Just got back. What a great trip to a new area. Welcome departure from the heat and the desert Scene. High of 68 and a low of 52. We found a camp Site with a great view. Lots more to explore next time.

Take Sunrise Hwy to Filaree Rd. To Laguna Meadow Rd. Mostly paved but extremely remote and very tight for the Camper. Roughly 5300ft. Elevation.

Sorry we missed you @woffman5 .

Have you tried Indian Flats campground. Its off the beaten path and somewhat out there. You should be able to get a trailer your size to the campground. I used to go there all the time before I got an RV. It's near Warner Springs.

I haven’t but I drive past the area everything I head to the usual desert spots. Have a pin on the location?
