Rented one on vacation in August. Had a blast in it and have been scouring this site gathering information. Was figuring I'd wait another year or so until my Explorer lease was up. Was talking to the wife today and she said why don't we get one as a spare vehicle. Although she thinks the Gladiator is ugly, would rather have a JL. Since I'll probably use it as my daily driver, I'll get the Gladiator.

Will probably use 95% on road so thinking of the Overland. Like the look of the Rubicon but would never fully use the off road features of it. I'm thinking maybe a small lift and some 33 or 35's. The Overland and Sport look under-tire'd. My explorer looks the same. Tires look too small for the size of the vehicle.

I better get working on my Build sheet.

Congrats on the decision. Do yourself a favor and get the Rubicon or a Mojave. By the time you get done adding to the Overland, the price will not be that much different.

Don't get me wrong. Overlands are very nice, but every time you see a Rubicon going down the road, your going to say you should have got that.

I would venture to guess 95% of Rubicon buyers never use its' full capabilities.
