LT255/75R17C on a Sport S without a lift?

Can a Sport S that does not have a lift use the LT255/75R17C that is the stock tire size of the Willys or is the reason the Willys can use that size due to the 1.5" lift that comes with that model?

Yes, they will fit without a lift.

They fit just fine; I'm running Mojave take offs (285/70R17) on my Sport S with no problems.

Not really… but I did replace the front Sport S fenders with Rubicon take-offs.

I’m starting to think that my entire Gladiator is a take-off…
