You’ve had the MEK Armor stuck on for 2 years!!!??? Wow! I recently bought mine and haven’t used it yet. Was curious because I don’t want to have to stick on and peel it off all the time. It’s Dove Season and I go out frequently and I want to leave it on from Nov-Feb
Should be good. I think they sell a storage sleeve. Otherwise just save the roll it came in so u don't ruin the silicone adhesive.

Opps then, I had water just starting to come over the front of the hood once. Nothing inside though, doors on. Confirmed the Rugged Ridge snorkel was for more than just looks.
I never really thought about it much, but I've had a bow wave over the hood on my TJ more than once as well. Even with the hood vents, I wasn't concerned with water intake. The JT/JL having the intake right on the fender like that... kind of makes that proposition a risky one.

One more excuse for me to get a snorkel, as if I really needed one.

So, getting a seal wet will cause it to fail?

News to me - I guess we need to look for thousands of failed transmission seals, axle seals, front and rear engine seals - for Jeeps of all sorts, cars, SUVs, whatever.
Extend your breathers and call it good.
