A couple months ago I installed the Metalcloak front and rear aluminum Overland Tube Fenders along with the inner fenders. Like many of my other projects I was hesitant due to some expected modifications that I was not sure would work. My main concern was the install of the Metalcloak rear inner fenders with my previously installed TeraFlex rear Forged ST Sway Bar Kit. I was able to make this work by cutting out a section of the rear inner fender. In order to figure out the first cut, some of the rivets needed to be drilled out. I only took out the first four rivets in order to push the inner fender over the sway bar. I was then able to eye the area that needed to be cut. I did a couple test cuts and worked my way up to the final size of approximately 6 ½”x 3” for the final cut. Once installed, I re inserted some rivets and it was good to go. My Milwaukee M12 rivet gun made this a lot easier, but a manual gun will also work. I also believe that if you make the cut in roughly the same spot as in the measurement photo below, you may not need to remove any of the rivets and the inner fender will slide over the sway bar arm.

I also thought I would have to cut the front and rear inner fenders to adjust my fast adjust Falcon piggyback shocks. It turned out that no modifications were needed, and they are easily adjustable.

Rust-Oleum Textured black spray paint is the perfect match for touch ups if you opt for the black powder coating like I did.

I hope this write up helps anyone like me who was hesitant to attempt this install. Here are a couple photos. The final install photo of the rear inner fender with the sway bar was taken after one of the smaller cuts. I ended up removing everything and making the larger cut in the tape measure picture. Overall, I am really happy with the Metalcloak fenders and inner fenders!

Here are links to the parts I am referring to.
