Kbd fenders with factory inner fenders

So I received the fenders yesterday and began looking at the directions. Says that I will need a heat source to get them back to original shape. Warm sunny day works or a paint bake bay, which I do not have...

Don't know if you needed to reshape any of yours out of the box. Mine appear to look good and don't appear to need it. Curious to know your experience before removing any of my OG parts.

If so, I'll be lucky to get one day warm enough to get them to reshape now that winter has finally arrived in TN.

I didnt have to reshape anything, just popped them on. As far as removal, I broke a ton of the factory tabs. Tried getting them out just in case I wanted to reinstall the OEM fenders, but got to a point where I got fed up and just ripped them off.

Update to my last post: I ordered the inner fender liners on Nov 23. Reached out to them on 12/5 and they still hadn't shipped. Spent 15min on hold today trying to figure out what is going on with the order. I finally got them on the line- still not shipped... They did call me back after a few hours to tell me they were on back order. Told them to refund me, which they did. Unfortunately, not a great experience with them and wouldn't recommend them as a vendor. On the hunt for some others. More to come.

The inner fenders should be arriving on Monday, so I'm hoping to have them installed Christmas Eve or Christmas Day. Doing some final research and starting to read about these may cause hyper-flashing in the led lights. Mine already has LEDs since it's a Max Tow, but word on the street is even those are throwing codes... Did you happen to have any issues with the lights when you installed yours?

Got the front fenders on today! Looks pretty sweet so far. I don't know how to tap into LED lamp wiring to connect my fog lights. Are there two wires wrapped into the single wire group going to the from DRLs? If so it sound like I need open the wrapped wiring and tap into it. Any thoughts?

I like the lights on those. Seriously need to find something like that for mine. That lil button inside the fender well is doing me no favors during daylight.

I would call, the tech team is pretty damn knowledgeable. And they are available directly which is unheard of with a lot of these companies.

Got the rear fenders and liners completed! They went on EASILY. The front fender liners were pretty difficult. But so happy with the results!

First day running the DRLs were great. No issues. Yesterday, threw a Right Turn Signal Out. Still works normal with a hyper flash inside. Left side, no issues. Of course. Going to make me crazy with one side hyper flashing inside and the other being normal. Resistors are likely in my future to retain sanity. Calling KBD tomorrow to figure out the fog lamp situation. More to follow.

Got the 35" Kanati Terra Commander RTX tires and. BDS 2" Leveling Kit installed a couple of weeks ago. Really love the look. Bought the JSCAN to update the tire size and found that I could turn off the turn signal error check. No longer getting the error signal from the KBD fenders. Also disabled the ESS auto start stop while I was at it!
