MetroMile Pulse Tracking Module with Tazer JL Mini

Has anyone experienced any compatibility issues when running an auto insurance OBD port tracking module like MetroMile Pulse in parallel with a Tazer JL Mini?

I had the CAA one in. Was a disaster, lost power steering, tranny stuck in 1st, and my dash flashing like a Xmas tree. All while I was driving down a road in traffic. Pulled the CAA unit and everything worked again.
