Looking to get the extension cable (mxta31) and I cant find one at all canada based, and out the the states anything is with $60 shipping

Does anyone know where this side or have a contact for less shipping?

Ebay is your friend. Search for Ethernet extension cable.
I use one on my Midland MXT275 and my Radioddity CS47.

Is that all it is? A cat 6 cable?

That's it. Just a cat 6 cable. I use one foot length from under the seat, gives a little more to reach the dash.
