MIL on 3.0 overland w/ 2,400 miles showing malfunction indicator warning light (MIL)

i ran a diesel Overland gently over 2k miles in 3 days. The last 30 miles at 2400 shows the malfunction indicator warning light (MIL). It’s the weekend and I can’t drive it. One half quart of oil consumed. Fuel quality from Loves, fuel cap tight. Your thought on solution? Looking forward to you guys and wisdom!
