I have a late (7/20) build 2020 Mojave. I have read the 2021 Mojave can lock rear axle in 4H. I have tried all the button sequences on my 2020 and it does not work. Jeep Cares just tells me to contact my dealer which I have two in my area and its like they have no idea what I'm talking about. Both Jeep Cares and the dealers tell me to look at the owners manual . My owners manual obviously says it can't be done In 4H.

My question, Is Jeep going to come out with a softwere update to allow this for the 2020s? If not I guess I can get the taser mini but just worry about the dealers voiding the warranty for installing the taser.

Dealers just learned that Fiat bought out Chrysler...

They should be up to speed on Mojave by 2031.

I've had a Tazer Mini since June 2020, been in for TSB and oil changes. No issues as yet. Locker in 2Hi is also very handy.

Edit to add: Get the extension cables, unmarry before service, they'll never be the wiser you've got a Tazer.

This video was send to me by my dealer, it works perfectly by following the sequence including the shift to Neutral and driving a meter or so to engage the gears just right.
The dealer also mentioned a software update if you get the message “switch to 4L” when trying to engage the locker at the end of the sequence. Which I was getting by doing the sequence wrong.

once I followed his instructions, it engaged on the first attempt, nosoftware update needed

Works on a Rubicon too.

Shift to 4h, press the off-road+(not sure if this is required but I do it), then the esc button and hold it for 5-10 seconds until the dash says it's disabled then you can lock the rear diff.

DIFF LOCK IN 4H

Start with the gear shift in N (neutral)

1.- set the transfer case to 4H PT

2.- set the shift gear to D (drive)

3.- roll the car a few feet

3.- set the gear back to N (neutral)

4.- select OFFROAD+

5.- press and hold ESP for 7 seconds

6.- activate the LOCKER

ok I tried the sequence and yet again says to go to 4low to activate rear locker. Does jeep have a software update to add this feature like the 2021's or am I just going to have to get a taser?

The video actually said there is a software update for it if it doesn't work so you may just need to visit the dealer.

The dealer said at the end of the video that if you still have the “go 4LOW” message at the end of the sequence, you need a software update.
i have no idea how or where to update the vehicles main software.
I suggest you to get a tazer mini instead. I love mine, plenty of cool features and the locker engages anytime you want without a sequence.
