So I am just thinking, its probly a stupid idea, but whatever.
I have a plain jane overland.
I like the look of the mojave scoop, even tho its not functional. I like the look of the rubi hood as well, even tho they vents arent functional as well. (but i have seen some videos to make the vents functional.)

has anyone seen or done a mod to a mojave hood to incorporate the rubi vents onto a mojave hood?

I have seen an aftermarket hood from cervinis that is similar, but have not heard any good reviews about them.

again probly a stupid idea, but wanted to throw it out to the masses.

I feel like you’ve been watching too many TV shows that make metal fab look easy. That would be a lot of work and would take a talented metal worker to make it look good.

If you wanted that look of both vent types, Amerihood has one that they already created. I’m not sure of the quality of the hood but I ran across this awhile ago.

I don't really see the point in the Mojave hood. Unless you are going to steal the cold air intake off the 392 it really does nothing but pressurize the engine bay. Which works against effective cooling because having low pressure in the engine bay helps to draw air across the radiator.

Do you have a pic of your rig with these installed?
I have not done these yet, but likely will. I put the large louver they make on my JKU hood, and it was pretty basic and straightforward- even included a template.
