To the OP thanks for posting these photos.

I'm looking at potentially this option now for my Mojave. I'm ok climbing into it, but my wife and kid are short. Would be nice to have some door ding protection also.

So which one is it? Haha.
Well I guess it's personal choice and how close you want the tires. The rails extended pass the fenders, you can see in the thread starter first pic. We removed about an inch of the rail and reinstalled the end cap. I'm running 35's now so I don't have a great pic to show.

37’s fit with the rails without any issues, However, I see it will be a concern when articulated and wheels turned up front. Rears are fine.
Thanks guys for your input.

Just finished replacing my Rubicon rock rails with the Mopar Extended Performance Rock Rails (#82215606). They ain't cheap ($720 from BAM Wholesale), but they provide a lot more protection from rocks on the trail, protect a bit from rocks that get thrown up, and they provide a nice step for kids and people of shorter stature. They come bedlined from the factory and feel very well-made. Thanks to BAM for the prompt shipping and quality packaging. Install is very simple.

I believe the Rubicon sliders are only mounted to the body, correct? Are these performance rock rails mounted to both the frame and the body? If so, they could probably take more of a beating.

They are mounted the same as the factory rock rails, to the body.
