hello i'm approaching the 36 month 36000 mile mark and am interested in an extended warranty. i have ONE huge burning question that i would enjoy being answered on this forum. i expressly purchased a Jeep Gladiator Rubicon because of its factory capabilities and it is, in my opinion, an excellent platform to build on. my entire suspension system has been replaced with components from teraflex/falcon and synergy. my 4.10 gears were replaced with 4.88 gears along with bearings and seals from dana spicer. the stock 17" rims and 33" tires fell by the wayside to 20" rims and 40" tires. there have been ZERO mods from the air intake to the exhaust pipe. the only electrical change was the superchips flashcal to correct the speedometer. i replaced the original hitch with the heavy duty capacity hitch from Jeep. i've yet to tow with it. i am interested in the maxcare 6 year 75000 mile $200 deductible warranty.
so the big question is: what is NOT covered under the warranty due to the above listed changes? i need a black and white answer of exceptions as the warranty would set me back $1225. when one purchases a life insurance policy, a list of disqualifying activities typically accompanies it and that is what i am requesting here. i am not interested in making a purchase only to find out afterward that " claims will be discussed on a case by case basis". thank you
Sorry for the delay on this. But I'll try to be as specific as possible and try to paint an accurate picture of what may happen. We as a Jeep dealership are an agent of the manufacturer. So in a situation like this we are the eyes and ears of Jeep when you bring your vehicle into service. That being said, every dealership may have slightly different interpretations of what is effected. With the level of modifications you've performed being all suspension, driveline modifications as well as a flash cal. I would recommend you NOT purchase a warranty. Is there some benefit to electrical components that aren't modified? Yes, but I think there's too much gray area that could void coverage, I don't want to put you in a situation where you purchased something that won't cover what you want it to cover. If a radio, power window switch, etc. malfunctioned, you'd be covered. But I think an argument could be made that the transmission, transfer case or maybe even engine was put under different stresses because of the pinion angle, extra load on the engine because of tires, etc. that coverage could be denied. I also know we don't have tools at the dealership level to differntiate between a flash for speedometer or performance was used in our system.

Hope that helps.

yes sir that is very helpful. i suspected my various modifications might run contrary to the manufacturers comfort level for warranty coverage. thank you for the forum reply.

This is very helpful and I appreciate the honest response looking out for the customer's best interest instead of trying to push a sale. That says a lot about integrity and I know it's something that owners value.

You state that you are selling the Mopar Extended Warranty at “$50 over cost”. I went to your site and entered the info for my vehicle and the following chart popped up with the highest mileage and coverage time would cost $4090. I then did a quick Google search for “Jeep extended warranty” and found several other sites to get a quote from. The first one I looked at had the same coverage for $3760. If your company is selling for $50 over cost, then they are selling them at a $280 loss? My truck is at 35,000 miles and I’m looking to do an extended warranty ASAP, but of course want the best deal I can find. Who is really selling their warranty at the right price???

Hello, I have a 2022 Gladiator Rubicon and purchased 8/60 Maximum Care on 7/16/2022. I am trading that Gladiator (manual trans) for a 2024 JTR auto trans. Can I transfer the original Maximum Care to the new Jeep?

Unfortunatley you can only transfer owners not to a new vehicle.

You can however cancel the warranty you have Mopar will issue you refund for the pro-rated amount left on your warranty and then you would just purchase a new warranty.

You can email [email protected] and Jackie would be happy to answer any questions you may have.

Unfortunately you cannot transfer, but you can cancel and Mopar will issue you a refund for the amount. Then you can purchase a new warranty.

Good afternoon!

For the month of April we are going to run a special that gives our customers to purchase Mopar Multicare Plus for $699 (tyipcally a $1200+ Price!) with the purchase of any extended warranty coverage. This coverage is for unlimited miles and the same year term as the extended warranty you purchase (i.e. 7 year extended warranty coverage and multi-care coverage).

Once you complete a purchase on our website www.buymoparwarranty.com Please email [email protected] asking for the $699 multi-care special or reply to the confirmation email you receive once purchasing the contract.

For those who may not be aware, Multicare is a coverage that bundles Tire & Wheel (including cosmetic), paintless dent repair, windshield repair, interior/exterior repair, as well as key replacement. I have attached a brochure that explains in detail what all is covered under this program.

Thanks for your support in March!
