Mopar Lift Crate Storage Bin/Rolling Toolbox

OK, so I had some extra time on my hands this week. I kept the original wood crate my Mopar lift shipped in for my old JLUR a couple of years ago. I thought it was kind of cool, so I hated to just throw it in the dump. At first, I thought about maybe staining it and using it as a table in my office, but I don't really have a place for it. So I thought instead that it would make a decent storage bin in my garage. I put some casters on the bottom, and hinges and handles on the lid. I can roll it around the garage as a small mobile workbench, or I just store my plentiful crap in it.

I'm no carpenter, so it's definitely no work of art.

I added an eye hook clasp to hold the lid open on the inside, and another on the front to keep it closed since the hinges caused the lid to rise up a little after I tightened them down.

I may add larger casters down the road if it turns out to be really useful. With the ones I installed, it's about 28-29 inches tall.
