MOPAR mesh sun bonnet with soft top

I have a Sport model with only the shot top. I just bought the MOPAR mesh sun bonnet(it was a really good deal). I have come to find out it won’t work if the door frames are left in place. I was hoping to be able to leave the bonnet on all the time with or without the soft top in place. Does anyone know if the door frames can be used with some of the other mesh tops on the market? Otherwise, I could probably just cut out holes in the bonnet for the door frame bolts to go through. Thank you in advance.

I made the same mistake, I bit the bullet and cut holes in mine where the door frames bolt, but now that I’m committed, I wish I would have gone with a different top. Even with the holes it’s a bit of a hassle because the front has to be unzipped to latch the top. I’d reccomend sending it back and getting something from jtops, or rugged ridge or the like where it uses velcro or bungees
