Mopar Roof Rack + Besttop Sunrider

Has anyone combined the MOPAR Removable Roof Rack Kit and the Besttop Sunrider?

Curious to know if you can fold the Sunrider back (open) with just the crossbar installed (no rails for bikes or kayaks, etc.)?

This is the set up I plan to run this spring/summer. Will find it out if & how it all works out in about a month's time when the Sunrider goes back on the truck.

I works if you place the front rack back a bit. I have to sorta push it all the way down but had no issues. (note I have off brand knock off not mopar)

I had forgotten about my post from 2021. I subsequently saw a Glad in a parking lot with the MOPAR roof rack and the Sunrider - Sunrider opened without problem. Just follow the specs in the MOPAR documentation that comes with the rack kit (read carefully - different measurements for a JT and a JL).

I've included 3 pics - 2 I just took showing the Sunrider open with the MOPAR roof racks, and a third showing using the roof racks with a kayak (Curt holders) and a bike (Yakima holder).

I can't with surf boards or paddle boards. I wouldn't think you could with anything on the rack that hangs over the front rack.
