Just curious, has anyone ordered an OEM Rubicon hood in the last 6 month? How long did it take from placing the order till it shipped?

If it's anything like the front steel winch-ready bumper, you may have a long wait. When I was buying my Rubicon several months ago, I was having trouble finding one (unless I spent more for the X) with the steel bumper package. So I went to several dealers and couldn't even get a part number from a couple of them to purchase the bumper after the fact. I even asked one parts guy what they would do if someone had an accident and needed the bumper replaced. He shrugged his shoulders and said we haven't run into that situation yet. So I kept looking and finally found a Rubicon with the bumper package and after three months lived happily ever after.
I guess parts can be a real problem in some situations. Good luck.
