A quick question for the mechanically inclined. Is there any tension on the steering stabilizer when I remove the stock one or is it a simple unbolt and replace scenario?

Thanks.

There should not be any tension on it. I have read that you should fully extend and retract the new one five times during install. This keeps it from adding any pull to the steering.

Do you mean manually before bolting it on?

Also it’s a Fox one not Mopar...

Either manually before bolting it on, or with the steering wheel after. The expensive Mopar replacement ($188) is made by Fox. I managed to get the Fox Stabilizer off Amazon for $125 a few months ago.
