mopar tube door covers questions

1) what’s the best way to clean these? I’ve tried power washing, and scrubbing with a brush, but the inside of the mesh still looks dusty. Any suggestions?

2) perhaps an even tougher question, what’s the short, 5” zipper on the outside for?

3) what are some uses for the molle webbing on the inside, beside hanging sunglasses? Bonus points for pics. Am going to look up a cup holder now.

They look like a vinyl or nylon mesh, so I'd go with anything that revives the deep black look of plastics and trim.
I'm sure 303 makes something, Chemical Guys, Adam's, etc.

Any mild general cleaner will work and 303 protectant would be a good idea as it protects against UV damage. Honestly not sure why the zipper is there, I can only assume access to the latch incase something broke but am not certain.
