Have you guys made a longer arm for the JT so the visor clears the mirror?

This is a little confusing. Why would you need to modify your advisors to clear your mirror? Did you upgrade your mirror to an aftermarket mirror?

Do you have a picture of the interference? I'm pretty sure mine doesn't hit the mirror.

Is that an aftermarket mirror? What are the plugs/wires sticking out of the top?

From the looks of it. He bought one of those wolfbox or equivalent. This is a rearview mirror that also has a rear camera attached to it and usually has an another camera built into it facing out the windshield. He probably got the 12 inch version which is known to have clearance issues with the visor. The 10 inch version which is not as good as the one he’s got, doesn’t have the clearance issue as far as I know.

Only way to get it to clear is to install spacers and longer bolts onto the 179 mount. You’ll need something around 1.5-2” to get it to clear. I tried .5” spacers and not even close. Didn’t feel like messing with it so just went with it how it is. I’ve found that the visor does go down about 1/3 of the way and that’s enough to block the sun for me. Jeep windshield really isn’t that big so I don’t need the whole visor for it to be effective.
