So I’m adding a second washer bottle to run headlight washers and a rear camera washer. I like how this bottle fits in this spot but wasn’t sure if it was too close to the cat. My other option is to put a diesel washer fluid tank setup in there. What do you think? This is the 3.6 V6 btw

You may have an easier time mounting a small tank under the bed (or maybe tucked into the rear bumper??) and have that one be on a separate switch then plumb the headlight washers into the existing bottle (and just have it work with the windshield wipers)

That was a thought at one point but I am very OCD about keeping stuff clean. Like I don’t want to tie the rear camera washer into the windshield washer because I don’t want fluid running down the tailgate when it’s not needed. This bottle has ports for two pumps and each would get their own momentary switch in the cab.

Oh I meant that just the headlights would be tied to the factory switch, the tailgate would be on a separate but I see what you're saying.

Something to consider whatever way you go is the head-loss between the tank and the tailgate. If you have a long run of 1/4" line or something you may end up with just a trickle at the end if the pump isn't big enough.

I did think about that with the headlights but it would be a waste of fluid unless I put a line that can be blocked off and disconnected in the summer time when it’s not needed
