I use rain-x and never had an issue. I usually top it off the same time I add blinker fluid. Just make sure you rotate the air in your tires to prevent cupping on the rims.?

I've never experienced any issues on my vehicles, and always try different fluids. Yet, I wonder if an occasional flush would be helpful? Once the wiper fluid runs out, maybe put a little water/alcohol mixture in to flush the lines before adding new/different fluid?

I buy used washer fluid from gladiator rubicons because Mopar has a special blend they use for rubicon models. Its red, just like the tow hooks and fetches a premium if the seller can verify authenticity.

So now I need to look for Rubicon "take out" washer fluid?

Oh no! I need to agonize over what windshield washer fluid is best? I just spent months researching wheels, tires, seat covers, motor oils, bumpers, floor mats, sliders, and more. Now, thanks to this thread, I have to watch a dozen YouTube videos comparing windshield washing fluids!!!
It was only 2 pages when you responded.

When I saw this topic in the list of "What's New" it was 4 pages, and like a moth to the flame I HAD TO CLICK on it.

Yes, I have issues.

BTW, Rain-X is my choice. It helps extend to the life of an application of Rain-X and makes driving in the rain a much clearer adventure.

10w-30 is my preferred.

In all seriousness, any works.
Only time I pay attention is in winter. I make sure I use the washer fluid that won’t freeze.

During summer, I prefer any distilled water and a cap full of simple green.
Way cool "" During summer, I prefer any distilled water and a cap full of simple green"". Thanks for a great idea!

What is your formula?
What are your ingredients?
So what is your recipe?
WOW. Sorry everybody. When I posted that I really didn't think anyone would take it seriously. I saw that the OP only had one post so I thought we were being trolled.

To contribute here -- I just throw the usual blue stuff in there. I try also to stay away from the rainx additive ones as that stuff is seriously bad for paint.

Exact formula I use.

Some of today's fancy designer washer fluids do not play well with other washer fluids. Reality is, it is best not to mix brands.

Some will laugh at what I am saying until they experience nozzle plugging due to mixing brands.

SO, let it run out and then replace with a different brand or add the same brand washer solution when fluid level is down. OR, siphon what is in there out and start using a brand of your liking..
The factory build sheet on mine said "methanol windshield washer fluid". If you want to stick with the same stuff, get more methanol based stuff.

I’m amazed that this thread has actually stayed on track and was taken so seriously. This forum ain’t no joke.

I also just grab any ole blue stuff from the grocery store or gas station these days. Back up north, I paid a little bit more attention with 0-32 degree weather though.
