I've been lurking on the JL forum for almost two years (posted a little concerning trailering with JL). Since my 2018 JLUS purchase in Sept 18. I love the JL. But after JL purchase Jeep announce a JT. I purchased a 2900# dry Jayco Hummingbird 16MRB and the JLUS pulls it fine. I also have a 22' Blazer Bay Center Console 3950# boat that I use a Silverado 3500 to pull (too heavy for JL). Last night I sold my pickup and now I have the unenviable project of selling my 18 JLUS and the enviable task of ordering a 20/21 JT. The JL forum proved to be a vast wealth of information and I now come to the JT forum mountain seeking knowledge. I plan on using this forum for pricing info to negotiate with dealer and suggestions for options. My initial build will include a small option list: premium soft top (we love being able to fold back the top at a moments notice), Max Tow (thinking I will have to order because on-lot Max Tow units don't seem to have limited-slip axle a part of option components) and maybe the Cold Weather Group (not keen on heated seat/steering wheel, but want the remote start and only $400 more than the Convenience Group with remote start). Not sure this project is worthy of a new thread, but I am kinda pumped and am hoping for some helpful guidance because this will be a purchase I hope to last a long time.
