There's a mistake somewhere, either yours or theirs. Daniel does tons of these with many many happy customers. I'd guarantee you they're not trying to screw you.

Check incentives in your area. I'm pretty sure that is the difference. They are automatically included when you do a build on the Jeep website, but will not show on your order sheet from Daniel.

You know, that could be the deal. How does the website know, is it regional or countrywide...? Because its about a $1500-2000 difference which is what the incentives are, and that would make the sprdsht work
Thanks for the insight. And to clarify, i am NOT bashing Daniel. i have a budget im trying to meet, and there is a several thou difference im trying to sort out

You might compare the pricing of your options in the most recent order guide with the forum spreadsheet, when I was configuring mine a few of the numbers were off (I.e. hardtop was $100 more in the order guide.) Granted, I don’t think it would equal a 1500-2k difference, but worth a look
