Came home from camping yesterday afternoon. Parked in the drive and got everything out of the travel trailer (TT). Relaxed for a few hours in the house. My TT was connected to my Jeep via the 7-pin plug for about four hours. Tried to start it and just got one click and nothing else, just dashboard lights coming on, plus radio. Great, thinking the TT sucked the Jeep's battery dead.
I unplug the TT 7-pin plug from the Jeep and... go back inside. It's late, I'm tired.
This morning, get my fully charged Jump powerpack and hook it up to the Jeep. Nothing. Jeep is completely dead, no dash lights, no clicks, no signs of life whatsoever. Jump powerpack did nothing so get the wife's Equinox and the jumper cables. Hook it all up and... Nothing still. Ugh.
Help. Do I have a Dealer visit in my future? Did I damage something leaving my TT plugged in for four hours? I've done that before with my F-150 and same TT with no issues. I know how to use jumper cables and jumper powerpacks so that's not the issue. I'm at a loss as to why my Jeep is completely dead and battery won't take a jump, battery is less than two years old and I inspected it, no signs of any problems there. Something I can do here besides call for a tow and get it to the dealer?
Thanks.
