Good to know, was thinking about getting it myself but if they won't stand behind it what's the point.
GG is no longer offered by Jeep from the factory from what I know.

If you get it aftermarket, you'll be totally fine as the warranty is more direct.

It was the fact that the factory installed the GG that caused issues/conflicts between the competing warranties. Without the factory doing the install, the warranty is straight forward.

Not really.

Do you have more info on that?
My experience with GG and Jeep warranty is posted in several places here. Mirrors the MANY posted here and a bunch of other places in the internet. Easy to find and understand why Jeep has retired the option. GG glass is junk. So is their glass “protector” they sell for smart phones. Good for Jeep for finally dropping them, shame on them for screwing all of us that ended up with it on our Jeeps. I did not buy it. It was factory installed in the JT I wanted. If I had known what it was I’d have it ripped off. It would have saved me a $500 deductible when a small pebble busted it.

Oh, gotcha. I thought maybe there was some good info on the actual reasons Jeep dropped the offering. I would've been interested to learn more about that.

Luckily I live in Florida and covered by insurance. It’s just a hassle to have to take the time out to get it fixed and the fact that it is an on going problem.
