WOW! This is impressive on so many levels, I have scrolled through the pictures multiple times. Which Warn winch did you go with?

My goodness that is one gorgeous truck. It would be a shame to get it dirty. Extremely nice work. I just went out in the garage and kicked my Gladiator for being so plain.
Thank you. Believe it or not it does get dirty. I’ve always appreciated my detailer. He make’s all of my vehicles look like mall crawlers :) Wife’s Wrangler…..

What a beaut. Awesome to see someone else doing their own work, too!
Thank you…….. but it wasn’t exactly easy, but I did it! I think I watched about 10 videos on how to mount your tires on bead locks yourself and my son and I have done it on both of our jeeps now…. That was another adventure.

Is California going to allow you to keep such a build? Very nice
About 8 years ago and further back they would not. For the last six years or so to me, it seems like there is 50% of the cops out there on the highways and then the city then there was eight years ago. It seems like nowadays for the last 6 to 8 years they kind of gave up on the little stuff. Bottom line is there is less Highway patrol and city cops out there today in California.

I wonder how are you liking the King Shocks with the Rebel Coilover kit... I am think of doing the same to my JT but still trying to decide if I should go Rebel or EVO.... Truthfully wondering if there is any real difference. The Rebel says 12" of travel and EVO claim 14"... Don't know if i should fully believe either.

Also, how nicely do the Kings ride?? I have been seeing comparisons that are saying the Kings are good for more off-road while the Fox do a better job being comfortable on the pavement.

I have heard claims of B.S. On Rebel 12” and Evo 14” stats. It really doesn’t affect me so I wasn’t too concerned about it. My wife’s wrangler is the one doing the heavy flexing. I installed long arms on her 2022 also. Her Jeep is the one you can say we take really off roading. I built my Gladiator for the Glamis Sand Dunes. We have been going to Glamis for over 31 years now. I like a lot of.Evo stuff and have ran a lot of their stuff on my other jeeps, but I don’t like the square shape of the Evo brackets. I really like the way the Rebel hoops looked. I was warned about the King shock sliders and told to get the AGM sliders so I will not hear that much creaking coming from the coils….. Absolutely love the ride of the long arm with king coils. Zero regrets. I wish I would’ve installed long arms on our JK’s that we had. I cannot comment on the Fox coils because I do not know much about them other than I do have Fox coilover’s on our Ford Ranger, but that’s a whole different animal…….

Yeah, I decided to give Rebel a call... From what it sounds they both use a 2.5" x 12" King shock. I have not confirmed with EVO and their website does not appear to show if they are using a 12" or 14" shock. But if 12" I think they would need to tuck the shock at an angle to get 14" out of a 12" shock. Looking at the pictures of it installed I can see EVO is tilted a little forward (don't know if would be enough to swing 14" out of 12" shock.) while the rebel seems to be parrallel with the wheel travel.

Doing some math would equate to get 14" of travel would need the shock moved rought 6-8" from parrallel to up/down travel. From the pictures of EVO I would think that is the case.

However, I would want to run the IBP version of the King Shock to give the added benefit without the cost of a separate Bypass Shock and the more complex (typically weld in) double hoop setup. I wonder if with the EVO an IBP Coilover would work or would that just make the "sweet spot" for the ride height very picky??

Sounds about right. More homework time. If you can post whatever you find out on the travel length. Very interested……..
