My DIY Rack

Hey guys,

I thought I would share my DIY rack. Very much purposely built for the Thule Pulse L. My requirements were:

• Be able to mount the Thule Pulse L
• Work with the factory, soft tonneau
• Mount to the factory trail rails
• The "posts" need to follow the body line angle

In the future, if required, I will add in points for other types of attachments.

Let me know if you would like to see some closer photos of the mounting. The 3 shots I have included are more "glamour" shots I took while I was on vacation last week.

Any additional details? To what extent did you diy it?

It was all DIY. Maybe DIM is more accurate. Do it myself. I didn't intend this to be a walkthrough, but to help give ideas to people.

The parts were cut out from 3/16" mild steel, and I used 1.5" square tubing for the crossbars.
