Bottom left hand corner of image, inside bed rail dimension is your telltale. I think it's too wide. With the ability to raise and lower the top, you're going to apply a lot of torque to these mounting points.

O nice, I couldnt find much info on this thanks for posting this. I was going to try and do a vertical lift, but if I could make it fit it would have been alot less engineering on my part. Strength wise I heard the side of the tacomas were fiberglass, and ours is aluminum i believe so it would be stronger. How wide is our beds? I dont have mine yet.

With my BAK Revolver cover on I can't get a gnat's ass measurement, but at minimum it is 55-1/4" inside to inside on bed rail caps.

Looks like I will be designing my own then lol 2 inches is too much to cut out on this system, unless I do new actuators and the rails. I wonder if doing this style lift is better than a vertical post lift.
