Oof. I have been looking at some other rail setups but the 10" low profile version of this may fit the bill better for me.

Any idea if there's an option for a mountain bike carrier if I had a RTT taking up most of the top space? Is there some sort of way to side mount a bike rack?

(ETA - I asked the question about the bike rack before looking at your website and reading the entire thread. So, answered)

Another question. The rack claims to be tonneau compatible. Based on the way that your rail sits on top of the bed rail, it would need to stick out pretty far to clear the edge of the tonneau cover bracket. Would be interested to see what that looks like(I'm using a conventional(tyger) soft roll-up cover). Not sure I'd like how far it would need to standoff, and might have to ditch my tonneau cover or possibly a different alternative.

We're about a day away from going live with the new CXR portion of the website, but If you tell me the width of your cover, I can tell you if it will fit between the Base Rails of the rack.

Won’t fit. Nearly 2.5” too wide and that is measured at the rear where the width is the narrowest(the Tyger cover rails spacing tapers from front to back).

I suspect most roll up covers won’t work at the stated width requirement.

I’ll have to ditch my cover or look for an alternative.

We have many racks and crossbars that will fit with that cover, just not the CXR or VRS.

I love how you made this a holder instead of a hard mount. Very useful.
Thanks!!

We aren't a fan of bolting hard cases to racks, we think the cases are more useful if you can grab them and open them on a flat surface.

And this is a little woodpecker that I saw while taking pics. He didn't even care that I was there, all he wanted to do was hammer away at that birch tree.

I love this and seeing it when I'm about to empty my wallet on the ROR Explor rack, but the rear hatch shuts down using the bed for a lot of applications. Any plans to make a full hatch like the Rebel Off Road rack or campers open all the way? As it stands the one you have with a small opening in the middle is not usable for me.

Sorry, we have no plans to make a different version of the rear enclosure.
