Can we not do the thing where we act like everything we don't like is automatically garbage?
I typically like and own Ford products, the Bronco was underwhelming for the money and felt cheap in certain areas, 50k+ for a vehicle with a clunky and poorly gated manual, no rear occupant vents or cup holders, poorly designed soft top, and weird cargo area access if said soft top is chosen. It felt chonky behind the wheel and they missed the mark by offering the 2.3 or 2.7 instead of just using the same 3.5EB as the F150 and moving on. Both of those previous motors are known to have issues. (sleeve issues, and now the simply launching into oblivion 2.7EB) You can defend it and that's fine, but I looked at both options for months, but, the Bronco is an overpriced attempt at Jeep's market share with less of the DNA that makes Jeep so successful.

Can we not do the thing where we act like everything we don't like is automatically garbage? I much prefer my gladiator, but the bronco is a solid vehicle nowhere near 1/10. Has some downsides like who in their right mind every thought a laggy all-digital tachometer ever belonged on a vehicle with a manual transmission? But there's a reason why they had to stop taking orders for MY22s in early march, and it's not all because of supply side shortages.

I like the bronco. If Ford had gotten their act together I never would have given the Gladiator a second thought. Lucky me, Ford fucked around and effectively sold me into two Gladiators and I'm much happier over here but I still think Ford designers did a good job with everything except the engine choices.
Too each their own. Nice hijack on the thread ??‍♂
