How much should I be getting? I mean elderly people are passing me. 0-55 in like 25 seconds lolAnd 27mpg with the EcoDiesel is being very optimistic, especially if you’re only getting ~15 with the gas.

I get 20+ combined with my Sport S, but it’s over 20k miles, too. Under 10k it was closer to 17.How much should I be getting? I mean elderly people are passing me. 0-55 in like 25 seconds lol

Pretty much stock everything, as far as running gear.stock tires?
i find those overlands and sports with the smaller tires seem to do pretty good mileage wise.Pretty much stock everything, as far as running gear.

This is all variable but i swore i read an article that found getting up to speed faster, aka floor it, was better for mileage over all. Powerband dynamics and what not.How much should I be getting? I mean elderly people are passing me. 0-55 in like 25 seconds lol
I like manuals a bunch too but I really like the auto in this truck. This is all variable but i swore i read an article that found getting up to speed faster, aka floor it, was better for mileage over all. Powerband dynamics and what not.
In previous vehicles I've done both for long periods of time and didn't notice much difference so i just floor it everywhere cause it puts a smile on my face.
I think the diesel is worth it depending on your trade situation. If you have a spare and can sell outright you would probably be able to easily make it work. Having a diesel in winter just doesn't sound appealing. I also can't stomach autotragic transmissions, I've driven manual too long.
If it helps I built out what I wanted with nearly every model and the price difference wasn't that large between them. Basically the price difference for the better axels. My overland order came to $50,500. A mojave was $55,000. Rubicon was $54,000. The Willy's defiantly are cheaper at the cost of options. Can't get leather, Can't get cold weather group, Can't get premium audio and 8.4" screen. Willys was $45k, willy's sport was $40k. The Sport S was basically the same as well $49,000 again at the cost of some minor options.I like manuals a bunch too but I really like the auto in this truck.
I find when i am easy on the gas 2nd gear throws real short and 3rd acts like 7nth.
but yeah the numbers would have to work out really well, there arent any diesels around here though, the salesman said "we can just build you one." didnt know there was a chip shortage or anything. Basically I was thinking overland, willys or sport, remote start hard top and diesel would come in way under my mojave with same options plus trade in craziness. I dunno.
I got the same during the winter really. I could post my fuel data. Its funny I have tried to ask folks about mpg but you really just get met with "you are gay. buy a prius." etc type comments. Ive always felt like it was pretty low and I was surprised honestly. I mean forget going with a bigger tire ill be in 10mpg territory.Your mileage is pretty poor if you drive like a grandpa. I drive pretty slow, around 73 on the highway, my Sport S sits higher than a Mojave and I run heavier larger tires, corrected with a AEV Snap. I also have 4.10s. My mileage is 17 in the winter and 21 in the summer, I believe the fuel blend is a little different depending on season and the temp may also have some effect on mileage.
When I was at stock height with stock 31” tires was getting 24mpg.I got the same during the winter really. I could post my fuel data. I think my short trips are whats getting me. That was one reason I didnt get diesel I knew those were bad for them. Its crazy the mpg difference between the models. People towing are getting better than what I am getting taking it easy. I just dunno. When I was at stock height with stock 31” tires was getting 24mpg.
With my current setup I get 13.5mpg towing a 3500lb boat.
