So I may get chastised for this but here's my possible issue. I installed a skyjacker 2.5" coil spring suspension lift. The front coil springs bowed like crazy, even after installing a daystar bow correction pad. I swapped them out for Teraflex 2.5" front coil springs with a teraflex 1.5" spacer on top. These spacers were leftovers from a BDS kit I had on prior to the Skyjacker kit. These spacers were installed as I had too much rake and needed to level the jeep back out. I don't have much travel left in the front skyjacker shocks so I am toying with the idea of getting the EVO front shock extensions to give me more travel. After installing adjustable control arms and adjustable track bar for the Gladiator and buying crap for the YJ funds are getting low. I will save up for longer shocks but in the mean time with these shock extensions work with what I'm running?

By doing the math, you have a 4" lift in the front. 2.5" springs + 1.5" spacer. I know of no shock extensions for that range. 2" is the norm on shock extensions. You are still going to operate on a very short stroke, if any, on stock length shocks. I can't see the shocks lasting long in that set up.

Now, if the Skyjacker shocks are + 2.5" over stock and you add the shock extension to count for the 1.5" spacer, it might work. But that is a question you want to ask Skyjacker.

Yes Sir. The Skyjacker shocks are for the 2.5" Skyjacker lift so they are longer then factory shocks. I'm sure people have done what I'm trying to do, just wanted to make sure it's doable. On a seperate note, when I called Skyjacker about the extreme spring bow they were not helpful at all and pretty damn rude. I will chalk up my mistake on this purchase and not buy Skyjacker anymore but that's for a different topic of discussion.
