Need Help!!!! Broken screw on Teraflex Uinta cargo bed rails

Over torqued one screw breaking the head off, installing my bed rails. Drilled it out and attempted to tap new threads. Well that didn’t work so now I’m wondering what the next step is? Do I reach out to a mechanic to have a professional tap the holes? Anyone here know of a professional in socal that can help? Any advice is appreciated.

I’d take a step back, reevaluate it (is there anything else that you can do with it?), and take it to a mechanic if necessary.

When installing new shocks on my old Land Cruiser (typical Toyota rusty undercarriage), I managed to snap off two bolt heads. I was in the same boat. Couldn’t tap them myself and ended up running it to a shop. I was out a few bucks, but they fixed the issue.

Is it on the cab facing side? If so, you can washer and nut stack it from the back side.
