I have the Clayton Overland + 2.5” kit, if you plan on moving to 35’s, i wouldn‘t go taller than 2.5”. It’s a pricier kit, but it articulates incredibly.
Is the ride on the road and trail good? Does it sag at all. I’m really leaning towards this exact kit.

Love it. No wind noise. Solid construction, great for the dog, and folds down in two minutes.
Which make/model did you get? Only reason I want one is to transport my pups on trips.

Fas-top Solo. I wanted to be able to do things like this without prior planning or a hoist.

I’m a big Metalcloak fan… and I have and have used their lifts on my jeeps. I have heard and I saw just yesterday a Clayton lift and I am super impressed. Personally it’s down to what you want and can afford … 2 lifts at the same time is a big ticket for sure… good luck on your decision.

Well I just did it. Bought two 2.5” overland plus kits from @Clayton Off Road. Went through @Northridge4x4 as they were running a deal on Teraflex products. I bought Fox 2.0s for my wife’s JL and I decided to go with the Falcon 3.3s. I used the forum code and got an additional discount and should receive a give card for the Teraflex Falcons (deal runs through the end of March). I read and received so much information from this forum. I really appreciate everyone. I will read up on installs as well. Gonna need to go get a larger torque wrench.

Nice. My point of course was that I could go from a topper to an open bed, without knowing where to put my big hard top, and without having a crane or a second person handy to remove it easily. :)

It’s gonna be a bit. I think one lift is in stock but the shocks aren’t. On the other lift it’s 30-45 days out and the shocks are ready to go. Lol.
I am also installing these myself. I have turned plenty of wrenches in the past and the videos/instructions seem pretty straight forward. Nervous about the 190lb torque specs but it will get done…. Eventually. Post pics when I am done.

Should be sooner than that, nothing is on backorder at the moment and I believe they have some kits shipping to them within the next few days :like:

Well both lifts are on. Love them. Had them on for about two weeks now. My wife’s has some front end noise coming from a sway bar endlink. I don’t know if the joint is bad or what. Having a shop look at it at the 500 mile check.
The JT looks/feels great. My 3.3 Falcons (@TeraFlex) are apparently on some kind of crazy backorder. No idea when they will get here. I am riding on 2” shock extensions for now. All in all very happy with the purchases and just need to fine tune a few things. Pictures below.

Looks great! Most likely one of the jam nuts on the end link just needs to be tightened! Did you order the Falcon shocks through us? We actually just got some of these in stock.
