I recently purchased a 2021 Jeep Gladiator Mojave and while the tires look great, I've already got the bug to add some bigger tires... I'm aware the Mojave is a unique suspension and I don't want to touch it, but I would like to have the biggest tires possible. I've seen vehicles with 35s on them and I just don't think I will be happy going from the current 33s to 35s as the change doesn't appear to be significant enough. So what can I really do without a lift? If necessary, I would be open to installing some sort of a spacer lift later down the line to address any potential rubbing issues. So here are my questions.

1. If I add a smaller 37 such as a 37/12.5/17 will it rub? My intent would be to install on these tires on the stock Mojave rims at this time and potentially upgrade later.
2. Will I be required to add spacers to make room? Visually, I don't see an issue other than potentially the skid plate or maybe touching the exhaust on the drivers side.
3. Assuming this all works, I've seen others mention a Tazer to fix the speedo and shift points. Will a Tazer instantly void the Jeep warranty?
4. Not a big deal, but what will the MPG hit be to go from a 33 inch tire to a 37?

Thanks!

37s fit a stock Mojave, with stock wheels. No tire rub.

Thanks. Looks like they'll fit but how will they react the moment I take it offroad? Will I have issues right away or will it still handle mostneveruthing and all bottom out in extreme situations?

The stock wheel is 17x7.5. One tire place I talked to would not put a 12.5" wide tire on a 7.5" wheel. Many have done it but some say it is not recommended. A 11.5" tire might be a safer bet. My new wheels are 17x8 and I had a discussion with the dealer about the 12.5" wide tires. So I had the dealer installed 35x12.5x17 tires, new 17x8 wheels and calibrated the new tire size. It was important to me that everything was still covered under warranty. Bigger tires do look cool!

It would be a bitch to screw up an expensive vehicle and lose your warranty! Just my 2 cents!

As an update, I went with the smaller and lighter 37/12.5/17 bfg ko2s and installed them on the stock rim with no lift. They measure quite a bit smaller than I even imagined at 34.5 inches at 34 psi. Good and bad. The good is that I dont really need a lift or regear and they are also quite a bit lighter. I dont feel any differences from the stock falkens and I just made a trip from Phoenix to Flagstaff and hit about 8k feet.

Bad was that I thought they would be just a bit bigger than they are, but it all worked out great. No regrets.

Why on earth does a 37” tire measure smaller than 35”? Thats nuts.

the ko2 is advertised as 569 revs/mile; which puts it at about 35.5 measure. I guess the combination of narrow wheels and lower pressure take another inch. I wouldnt have guessed that.

I like that they run small but expected between 35 and 35.5 inches. So a bit surprised with the actual height. When installed the tire pressure was set to 38ish and they were still only around 34.75 or less.

The new rubbers look very good. BTW, what was the weight of the OEM Falkens (ATs, right)?
Not exactly sure on the weight. I think the stock falken ATs were low 60 lbs and these are around 70 lbs. Most 37s were around 80 which I thought would bog this engine down too much with out regearing.

yeah. If i bought 37’s that measured under 35”, theyd be taking them back. If i wanted 34’s i would have bought 34’s. Those tires should be marked as 35’s. Not 37. Theyre coming up way short even from a standard 97% revmile/diameter difference.

But, glad they are working for you!

Running 35x12.50x17 KM3s on AEV wheels for both JT and JK ... ran KM2s on JK and TJ previously. Love the stance, performance manners, and wear. Definitely 'run small' ...

Current set measures just above 34" @ 36 psi ... love the KO2s on your rig. Have made the PHX to Flag trip half a dozen times or so now ... very happy with their run on & off road.

Aev wheels are 25mm offset right? Any issues at full stuff? Everything clears? I was assuming the fenders would need the chop at least.

Looks awesome! No lift correct?? I'm eventually going to go with the 35 in KM3 and the new Salta XR. What size Rokblokz did you go with?
