New Gladiator North Edition!

Hi all, thanks for the add. Yesterday, I picked up my new Gladiator North Edition in Gator. I traded in my 2015 Wrangler Unlimited Willys W. That was a great Jeep, like the others before it. I'm hoping the Gladiator treats me as well as my YJs, TJs, and Jku have done. So far, about 100 miles, it's awesome and Iove it. We also have a 19 JL in the family. It is my fiance's. We got it in February, which really got me thinking about Ol' Willy. I ordered it in July of '14 and we spent 76k glorious miles together. I loved that Jeep and am sad to see it go, but the Gladiator checks off the need for a truck AND a Jeep. Anyway, thanks again for having me. I look forward to reading about everyone's trucks... uh.... Jeeps... uh.... trucks... I'm not really sure what to call it yet.

What does the North Edition give you on the Gladiator? On the Ram it has some really great content like a 1" factory lift, locking differential, Falken A/T3WA tires, body colored accents, heated steering wheel and seats, block heater, full-time 4x4, and several other things. Great package. Is the Gladiator the same?

There's not much that makes the North model special, other than a sticker. It's an Overland that adds premium sound and 8.4 uconnect, cold-weather group and a few other items that are options on the Overland. Basically, it discounts the included options relative to adding them to an Overland. It also has Bridgestone Dueler ATs at a $195 upcharge.

The North Edition adds $3325 to the base MSRP of an Overland. It includes premium audio, 8.4 uconnect, cold weather group, hard top, side steps (plastic ones), cold weather group, sliding rear window w/defroster. Rubber floormats and trail kit w/tow-strap.

It would have been nice had it included some type of performance upgrade, but I was looking for one that has pretty much everything that was in that Edition. The current incentive package brought it down to about the same or a bit below a Sport S optioned with what's in it. This one had an extra $1000 in rebates due to being pulled from the FCA pool. Total rebate package was $7919 from FCA. I thought it was a good deal, so I jumped on it.

Mine also has both safety groups, dual top w/ roll-up tonneau and tow package, plus the AT tire upgrade.
