Bought my first jeep this weekend. So excited then I started reading about issues with manual transmission. I read about the recall of builds before 2-2023. Mine was mfd. in 07-23. Do you think the issue was fixed when mine was mfd?

I may be on here a lot since I'm a novice!

Welcome and congrats. The ones manufactured before 2/16 are under a stop sale and there was a production stop. I noticed over 40 were built for inventory in July by tracking ”being built” and “in transit” gladiators on Jeep’s website. I would bet you bought one of those vehicles. There were none produced between 2/16 and July of this year and there doesnt seem like any 6MTs produced after that day or two day span that I have seen either.
Why have I been tracking this? Well I and a few others ordered 6MT trucks on or around 2/1. Then the recall and production halt happened. I was told sold orders are produced before inventory but obviously that isn’t true since they still haven’t built mine. Basically I’m so annoyed at this point I’m not even sure I want to buy anymore and if I do I might as well order a ‘24 at this point when they open those up next month or so.

I feel really stupid. I have an automatic transmission and i thought the manual was for the AWD. But talking with my brother-in-law, he assured me the automatic transmission would not be included in this.
I probably have no business buying this Jeep, but I’ve always thought they looked so kool.
I was hit by another driver and my car was totaled and had to get something so I bought this.
I love driving it so far but have lots to learn
