I went back and forth between it and Rubicon but ended up with the Rubi mostly for the slightly higher tow rating. After all the mods, I'm very happy with it but test driving both stock, the Mojave was the clear winner.

I was originally drawn to that dealership by a sarge green rubicon and I was gonna test drive it and sign the papers but the sales guy walked all over the lot and finally found it and then asked the sales manager and he said it had just sold that they were going to go have somebody bring them back to pick it up and asked if I had any interest in a Mojave so I jumped on it but had to wait as it just got traded in and had to go through the 160 point inspection which they supposedly did but the auto start unavailable message was still on the dash even after it went through and I picked it up, I looked at the battery and it was a regular lead acid battery so swapped it out with a new agm battery and light went away

New to the forum been lingering a bit and decided it was time to join, a little back story if I may. I had a 20 gladiator sport S in hydro blue that I lifted and had 35s

on but there was 7 other hydro blue gladiators in town and wife got to joking about trading it in, stopped by the dealership on a Sunday night and found a beautiful 2024 anvil gray Willys XR

so called the bank and dealership the next day and signed the paperwork that afternoon, well after a bout a week the wrangler was nice and loved it an all but it wasn’t a gladiator, so the XR became my wife’s new baby and the search began it didn’t take long before finding what I was looking for, it wasn’t the color I was after but couldn’t pass it up at a dealership in the next town over so called the bank and dealership and went and looked at it and test drove it and signed the paperwork on it the next day and finally got my Mojave I was after with every option available in 21

so here is my new to me

I’ve used that same strategy with my wife. Worked like a charm. I drive her JL whenever I want to and drive my JT when I’m not driving her JL. It’s a win win. Oh yea, I forgot to tell, she also has a Bronco Wildtrak

Haha nice!! She has always loved jeeps so it wasn’t that hard of a sell lol, but now all I hear is that’s her jeep and the gladiator is my jeep. Aside from adding red accents there isn’t much she wants done to it but I can’t blame her the XR is setup nearly perfectly for how I build them out anyways

Agree. The XR package would be ideal. My wife loves Earl Gray and I’ve often joked with her that I’d get her an Earl Gray JL but she likes the fact that the JL is paid off.

thank you and yes I do, I love both of them, already got my Clayton leveling lift ordered, my 35s on it, and swapped those steps that were on the Mojave for some Rubi rails I picked up from my brother. He has a 20JTR and a 23 JTRD so it wasn’t hard to get a set to install
