2023 Jeep Gladiator Sport S Sarge Green
Hello. I've been wanting to comment on a couple of threads but it didn't feel right until I introduced myself. I have been enjoying all the information and knowledge on this forum.

I purchased my 2023 Jeep Gladiator Sport S Sarge Green in August of 2023. I traded in my 2012 JKU Spot S for it. I loved my JKU. I wanted to save and eventually buy a second vehicle and keep the JKU for the rest of my life but life happens.

The Wrangler needed about $6000 worth of work after I dumped a bunch money into it about 8 months earlier. I also had a few road trips coming up with my kids and I needed something reliable. Gladiators have always interested me. As I was exploring my options at the time there were really good incentives on the Gladiators. They were actually cheaper than Wranglers for the first time since they were introduced and dealers were offering me good money for my JKU.

Of course I wanted all the bells and whistles but budget was a big concern. I got close to a couple of deals on some base model sports but nothing good enough for me to give up the minimum options I felt I needed. Then I found one I liked with the minimum options I thought I needed. Unfortunately the dealership had just sold it to another dealership as part of a package deal and couldn't get it out of the deal.

Luckily it was local and it popped up on the other dealership's sight a week or so later. It was made earlier in the year before they increased the base prices. With that and some negotiating I ended up getting it for the same basic price that I was considering paying for a Sport model for and this one had the upgraded stereo, wheels and a few other things.

There are a ton of things I want to get for it but like most my budget is limited. First thing on my list were rock sliders that could double as steps like I had on my Wrangler but I found some new side steps on marketplace for $50 so the sliders could wait since I also found a great deal on marketplace for a softopper at the same time.

I just purchased a topper tent with my tax return and now I'm saving my money again. Hopefully in a year I'll have a soft top and tube doors.

I look forward to interacting with everyone on here.
