New to the forum and looking for help with wheels and tires

What’s up everyone I’m new to the forum and to the Jeep community (First one) . I just got a 21’ Gladiator Sport S. I’m looking to upgrade my wheels and tires and I wanted to know if these would fit. It’s stock no lift, looking to go to 285/70/r17’s with new wheels 17x9 the options for offsets were +12mm and -12mm. Any issues with either of those offsets and or size of the wheels? Thanks I’m advance and sorry if I post in the wrong section.

This is the right section. Take some time and search because there is a ton of information that has been covered on these topics. Short answer is yes that tire will fit on either offset. The +12 will be closer to in line with your fender and the -12 will still out farther from your fender.

I had the same 2 options when I bought my rocktrix wheels. I went with the +12 because I did not want it to stick out as much.

So I ended up going with Tis 535B 17x9 -12offset, and I got LT285/70r17 Pathfinder AT tires. Just have to get them mounted and waiting of all things for the lug nuts that are taking forever to get here.

How well do those mud flaps help with the tires sticking out that far? I have a similar wheel/tire setup and the truck gets nasty. Are they the normal or large size flaps? Thanks!
