On a recent trip, descending some rather steep grades, I tried to shift over into Manual Mode, but dash indicator just flashed "M1" constantly.
Didn't matter if stopped, moving, in 4H or 2H.
Anybody else have or hear of this issue.
Thanks,
Jesse

Not sure of your exact scenario but if you are going too fast for the selected gear, I believe it will not shift into that gear.

Not sure about your model year but on my 2023, if you step on the brake momentarily and release it will downshift. It helps to set your dash screen to display the current gear so you can confirm the downshift. @ShadowsPapa mentioned this in another thread. I’ve tried it and it works. I’ve gone from 8th to 6th going downhill on two quick shots on the brakes.

Disabling of manual shift mode seems to be a common action taken by the computer when there is a transmission fault code set. I'd recommend pulling your codes to see what faults, if any, are present.
