Yeah, with at least 3 "sand and gravel pits" between us and town - those guys go flying everywhere. And there's major road construction going on in that area as well. They can't exactly stop on a dime and we're in heavy deer territory, I've seen more dead deer on the roads around here - dozens of them. Rut, I suppose. If I maneuver to miss a deer or have to slow down fast...............My company truck is gps tracked. I'm allowed 5 over the speed limit. So I normally have the cruise control set for 3 over. You should see the number of drivers trying to run my ass over. I hate the tri axle dump trucks. They fall under the DOT short haul rules. So the more runs that they can get in, in a day. The more money they make. They don't get paid by the mile, but by the haul. So they speed everywhere.
