We also had an old 1975 Indian JX50, but it never ran very good, although I liked it better because it had way better suspension...

Nice. I graduated up to a Hodaka Wombat 125, then a Yamaha 250 Enduro. After that I had Yamaha 750 followed by a Honda NightHawk 750. Went a few years without riding then did a DITY move from Quantico to 29 Palms and bought myself a Shadow 1100 with the extra. That was my Honda-Davidson. Closest I ever got. ?
Remember when you could walk into a motorcycle shop and there were eleven different brands to choose from?

I've had 23 motorcycles in my life time. Honda's Kaw's, Yamie, HD, Ducati, Puch, Bultaco, Hodaka. I've MX'ed, endruo, hare scramble, road raced. The bike that was so much fun and so much frustration was my Yamie TZ 350 raceracer. When you get right. I could place in the top 5 easy. When it was wrong. I was a moving chicane. The bike I have now is a Honda VFR 25th Anniversary Edition. Ohlins suspension, and Brembo brakes. Had a A&A supercharger on it for a while.
