How well does it seal? Does it lock when the tailgate is closed? If so, I am interested.

You’ll need to get some weather stripping to seal it up. That’s what the factory sends out. Unfortunately I don’t think it will be reusable when I peel it off. But I have driven through a car wash a couple of times and the hard top leaks more than the tonneau. It definitely locks. There are 2 side clamps that lock in place. The only way to unlatch the clamps is to open the tailgate.

It has a series of 4 or 6 total clamps that you fasten to the underside of the bed rail. I do not have the trail rail set up...so it made it really easy. The last 2 clamps are lever clamps that keep the cover locked, but you can unlatch them them and use the bed for bigger items. To unlock it, you have to open the tailgate. It feels very secure. I haven't had any issues with it since I have owned it and never felt like it wouldn't work as designed.
